Sue joined our team in 2021 as an Articling Student and has since been called to the Bar in June of 2022. She graduated law school at the University of Manitoba, and is excited to join the firm as an Associate, practicing in the unique area of Family Law and Wills & Estates. She hopes to cultivate a practice focused on collaborative law.
Prior to law school, Sue lived in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto although she was eventually drawn back to Winnipeg and is now excited to develop a practice in her hometown. She previously had a career in Project Management, where she became a specialist in facilitating and mediating safe spaces for employees in the workplace. She hopes to use these skills in providing a safe space for her Family Law and Wills & Estates clients going through tough transitional periods.
In her spare time, you can often find Sue performing at her local dance studio. She also loves to try out new foodie spots and breweries, and is looking forward to making travel plans again.
